In the System Status Section of the Service Portal, where does Service Now obtain that information from?

As I already mentioned in my first reply:

have a look at the Outage table [cmdb_ci_outage]

Just add a record there, and as Configuration Item select Active Directory. Set the dates, type outage, that's it.

If my answer helped you in any way, please then mark it as helpful.

Kind regards,
Mark

You have toi create an outage in the Outage table

https://YourInstanceName.service-now.com/cmdb_ci_outage.do?sys_id=-1&sys_is_list=true&sys_target=cmd...

and make sure your Active Directory is in Business Services table and Class is Business Service. Here:

https://YourInstanceName.service-now.com/cmdb_ci_service_list.do?sysparm_query=sys_class_name%3Dcmdb_ci_service&sysparm_view=

Please mark my response as correct and helpful if it helped solved your question.
