I enabled document viewer for Incident. I'm able to preview documents from the regular view. I get the following message when viewing various doc types (pdf, excel, docx, doc). I couldnt find a straight answer in the documentation.

I opened a HI case (CS4497612) and was told Document Viewer is not supported in Agent Workspace. I was advised to open an enhancement request for this which I did. Please use the link below to vote for the enhancement request (the more votes the better!!)

To provide some history/context, Document Viewer was slated as a feature in the Kingston release but did not make it into customer builds until Madrid, though at that time, only .pdf file extension types were supported. It wasn't until New York that features for file types other than .pdf were added. This is speculation, but it probably won't be until Paris or another release that the functionality has finally caught up to where it can be utilized in Agent Workspace considering the bumps in the road between the Kingston and Madrid/New York releases.

Based on the Idea link in the above comment, it appears that ServiceNow has addressed this issue in the most recent Quebec release.
