Just curious if anybody out there has used any type of custom field solely for the purpose of storing comma separated keywords in the Service Catalog?
For example, when searching our Service Catalog, we want our ActiveSync Access form to appear as a search result when searching any of these keywords: exchange, outlook, phone, mobile, iphone, android, active, sync, (in addition to all the words already present in the title, short description, and description). It would be too messy to show all these random words in the Description field.
We could easily add a field and store all these, but I'm curious if that is the best way to go about addressing this need. Any tips of thoughts on the matter would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Travis

Hi,
What you need is like a tag, right? Just bring out the "Meta" Field in the catalog item and type the words you needed for searching the catalog item.
Hope this helps.

I didn't realize this field was here. This seems to work perfectly based on my quick tests. Thank you!
