Knowledge "Ask a Question" functionality in Service Portal

In the platform, the "Post a Question" option allows you to pick a Knowledge Base to add the question to.

However, in the service portal, that option is not available.   Should it be?

Yes, this is a known gap in the product. We have it in our backlog to address this.

Hi,

In the service portal, you can only designate one knowledge base. So I'm assuming it's just routing to the one set knowledge base you've already chosen.

You could test this to see, but there is a limitation there.

I agree with Allen over Service Portal we have only one KB associated. So, that's the reason you don't need a function to choose KB.

I should have clarified... we're using the Knowledge Management Service

Portal (kb_home)...

https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/jakarta-servicenow-platform/page/product/knowledge-management/concept/knowledge-service-portal-homepage.html

Clicking one of the KBs on that page does not take you to a page where you

can ask a question in that KB.

It seems odd to me that you can add a question from that Knowledge Home

page but you can't pick which KB to associate it with. There is a ? on each

KB but the only way to get a question on a particular KB is to do it from

the platform? I couldn't find another Knowledge page that offers this

functionality. Am I just missing it?
