We are using Customer Service and all of the catalog items default to the role snc_internal when you create it. You can always add additional roles to this list but you cannot remove it and add snc_external (or keep it on there and add snc_external).
The snc_external role does not appear in the list of available choices which makes the form inaccessible to our CSM contacts. How do we update the catalog item so the external role can see it?

Hi,
After the Explicit Roles plugin is activated, do the following for all external users added before the Explicit Roles plugin was activated:
- Remove the snc_internal role.
- Add the snc_external role.
This ensures that external users added before activating the Explicit Roles plugin do not have access to internal resource that should be available only to internal users.
Refer to the following documentation:
If I have answered your question, please mark my response as correct so that others with the same question in the future can find it quickly and that it gets removed from the Unanswered list.
Thank you
Cheers

Did you find an answer to this?
I saw the issue now.

Hi Anton,
In my case, the snc_internal role was forced into the catalog item every time a lookup select box variable had a "Lookup price field" value. Once cleared, I was able to give access to snc_external to my item.
