Notification Users/Groups field - watch-list email not triggered

I have configured a notification in sc_req_item table and added watch_list in 'Users/Groups in fields'. When an record is inserted this notification should be triggered. But this is not working.

It works if I add an extra field like opened_by in 'Users/Groups in fields'.

Please provide the reason for this behavior.

Are you trying update the RITM from your profile. Please try with any other user so that you will also get the emails. 
Example: If you update the additional comments from admin account(which means yours)
it will not trigger email to you. Because you have updated the additional comments. If try with any other user who is having admin  role or any user who can update RITM it should work.

Can you check in the notifications if there is any details configured for Users/groups

Hi,

 

Unfortunately, we aren't able to know if on the form the user is able to add someone to the watchlist. It should work, but if there's no one there....upon insert, it won't send.

I have users in watch list upon creation of RITM.

Yea, also for the future, please try and describe your issue as best as possible before you post a question on the forums. Like you initially said it as if the emails weren't sending at all, then after we ask you more and more and more you start to say well it was sending, but just not to a certain user, who then that user ended up being you...when you didn't have the "send to event creator" box checked.
