PDF Viewing in-line in Knowledge Article in Portal

Does anyone have a solution for viewing a PDF in-line in a Knowledge Article in the Portal? I would like to be able to simply view the file content in browser without having to download the file locally.

The following thread provides a solution for viewing PDFs in-line in Knowledge, but it is via an unmaintained Share app and it does not function in Service Portal.

How can I view a PDF inside a KB article?

Does anyone have any ideas? I was considering experimenting with direct HTML embedding, but hoping there may be an established solution....

Turns out all I needed from this update set was the link to open an attachment, which I found in the 'KB Article Page Inline PDF' widget, html section.

What exactly is the problem you encounter? Not sure how much help I can provide given that I didn't use the rest of the code, but I'll be happy to try.

Hi Dennis, How can we restrict pdflist functionality for a specific Knowledge Base(say HR). The update set modifies some of the OOB UI Macros and replaces one of the widget on the portal. Widget on Portal can be replaced as per knowledge base but on native ui how can we restrict this functionality to a specific knowledge base. Regards, Vikrant

I noticed with Madrid upgrades that the Portal widget isn't displaying properly so I'll be looking at it and updating when I have it working.
