Hello,
The Polaris engine in San Diego is always docking the Agent Workspace 2.0 (also called CSM/FSM Configurable Workspace), whereas Rome still allows for a "open in new page" interface without Application Navigator and top navbar:
Rome:
San Diego:
This is under the same URL: now/cwf/agent/home
(Agent Workspace 2.0 is a custom rename of the CSM/FSM Configurable Workspace here).
Is there a way of allowing Workspace 2.0 to continue its past behavior of being undocked while outside of UI16?
The old Agent Workspace (URL: now/workspace/agent/home) is still opening in a new page without Application Navigator frame above it.
Best regards,
z.

Hi
unfortunately this is not possible. One of the improvements stated by ServiceNow is the seamless integration of workspaces into the overall user interface. For you opening a workspace in an individual browser window/tab would be an advantage, but this is what ServiceNow wanted to prevent.

Hello Maik,
I feared that might be the final answer.
The root cause here is to force the users to follow the customized Workspace that applies customer-designed requirements, and to avoid using other views.
The only workaround I have for this at the moment is to heavily rework the Modules' accesses based on the roles, plus View rules.
Nevertheless, thank you for quick and enlightening answer!
I wish you a very good day,
z.
