We have a request from our user community to send a pop up within the ServiceNOW application. The use case is for a custom application used by our Legal team to track Employee Investigations.
An Investigator is assigned to a case record and that person creates multiple tasks for other users to complete. The Investogator could have up to 50 open cases and hundreds of tasks. The request is to send a pop-up notification to the Assigned To investigator when Tasks are completed or updated.
I showed them how to use the 'Follow' functionality but they are concerned that people will forget to click that for each case or task record that is created. They would rather have it simply pop-up a message to the Investigator when any activity happens for that case.
