Refernce qualifier not working

I have a lookup select box field called 'Floor' and select box is referencing to choice table.

In reference qualifier I have written as:

javascript: 'element='+current.variables.location_of_the_meeting;

But this is not returning anything. Where I am wrong?

variable "location_of_the_meeting" is of what type and what it holds?

It select box and has 3 values and element in the sys_choice table also has those values same as in select box

I got it working 

Added variable attributes and it is working
