Report against changes to a Catalog Item

We have multiple Catalog Items, and recently updated a few to include new variables and such.

During the update, our Search Tags/meta got deleted/removed/rolled back to a previous version. As a result, our Item doesn't come up in search by name.

We know how to add the tags back, but the issue is that the tags had a huge list of text that we don't have a separate record of somewhere.

My question is - is there a "metric" history/table on Catalog Items that would record or have stored what the Search Tags were prior to this accidental update? I've looked at all the built in tables and can't find anything that would have the previous setting before it got changed.

Really hoping the change is stored somewhere for audit purposes and I can retrieve the old data!! I don't want to recreate it from scratch.

Hi @RC2,

You can revert back to a previous version by right-clicking a previous version and selecting 'Revert to this version'.

This can be done by opening your catalog item, and scrolling down to the 'Versions' related list.

If the related list is not there, you can add it via Configure > Related Lists

Note that it will revert all changes not just the meta tags.

If you wish to view the previous version in detail, right-click a version record and select 'Compare to Current'
