Reports not visible to user in dashboard

Hello,

I just gave a user access to a dashboard, but now they are seeing this message "Report visible only to a specific user or group". I gave her edit access and she still has this issue. How can I set this up to allow her access to the content within the dashboard?

Hi - You will have to bring the dashboard to editable state by clicking the 'Configuration' icon at the top right corner. Then Click on the pencil icon on the each of the report. Go to the report and share them (option under the save button).

Hi mkader,

You need to share both the dashboard and the report(s) in the dashboard.

Hey @johnfeist - How do I share the reports? They are displaying as widgets on my dashboard and cannot seem to find them.

You share the reports from the report builder. There are different places where you need to click depending on which UI you use. If you are using the modern, not classic UI, you'll find an icon like this on the op left

Click on it and do the share. Remember to Save after you do the share.

Under that icon it does not display the share option. What need to be assigned to allow a user to share their report.
