Why is my catalog/category not showing up on the Service Portal

Hello Community, 

I'm hoping someone can help me with an issue I am having.

I created two new Catalog Items.  After creating these items, I then created a new Catalog named Marketing and a Category named Marketing Materials.  However, when I go to the Service Portal and try to search for my catalog item nothing seems to show.

I have made sure all of the known culprits are checked.

  • Hide on Service Portal - False
  • Catalog Item has a Catalog and a Category
  • Visible everywhere - True
  • Category Available For - Empty
  • Category Not Available For - Empty

If anyone can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.

In the navigation I went to Service Portal > Portals.  From the table I went to Service Portal and in the Related List I added the new catalog in the Catalogs tab.

Hi Ireti,

 

Check if the catalog active is true 

and

open your catalog record from sc_catalog and check in the 'catalog portal pages' related list whether it is having a portal page in it.

Catalog is active and it does have a portal page.

Hi,

Is this happening for admins or non-admins?

Is it active=true?

Try logout and login again
