Steps to create update set:

• Navigate to All -> System update set -> local update set

• Click New to create a new record.
• Fill in the required details.
• Click Submit or Submit and Make Current to activate the update set.

Hi @nicoleowens - How's you? Sure - that's no problem at all.

Creating update sets are pretty simple.

In the Navigation menu, type 'Local Update Sets' and select the option which will present a list of the current updates sets on your instance.

In the top right hand corner, select the 'New' button and fill out the Update set name etc.

You can then click on 'Submit and Make Current' which will both create and make the update set the current one which will start saving your changes.

Once you've made the required changes and finished, you can then re navigate to the Local Update Set and you change the state field to complete. If you save this, you then have the option to 'Export to XML' link at the bottom of the update set form under to 'Update' and 'Back Out' buttons.

This essentially allows you to export the changes (export the update which you then them import on your PDI.

To import to your PDI... navigate to the 'Retrieved Update Sets' list. From here right click on any of the list column headers to be presented with a menu list. And you can select 'Import XML'.

This will import the Update set to this retrieved Update set list which you can then open, select the 'Preview' button to check for any conflicts, and then hit 'Commit' if you're happy.
