Hi Everyone,
I am new to ServiceNow platform learning and building my knowledge around. I have used ServiceNow for few years as a ITIL user in ITSM application.
I am using my PDI, where I am looking at customising all users with their corresponding assigned roles, in [sys_user] table. First I tried using config > List Layout and add "Role" and I could see only some odd users coming up with their roles, per figure A
I then tried creating a new View as "Role" and selected all necessary filter selection as per attached figure B. but I am still unable to see their roles, per figure C. I know users have roles assigned via "Related List > Roles tab"
I am not sure what I am doing wrong here.
Hope someone could help me out here 🙂
Many thanks everyone!!

Hi @NDC24
The reason is , you are referring the field call Role on user form, where roles are related list, so we cant get on list view.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

I'm curious why "Roles" is available as a selection when displaying the list of users (i.e. on Department) then. Is it referring to something other than the rows that a user is a member of?
