Service Bridge Bug parent task missing

We have an integration between a service bridge producer(US) and Consumer(customer). its a case to incident mapping. we have this weird bug where the data from us the producer makes it to the consumers remote task. but it doesn't type or write anything onto the corresponding incident. when we checked the remote task it said 

'The parent task is missing, update failed.' in the work notes field. I'm not sure whats causing this. Mind you this is happening post creation

Go to the Service Bridge Consumer > Open Records > Remote Task  module. Is the parent field populated there for the remote task?  If so, when you select it does it open the incident?

Okay — I think we’ve reached the limits of what we can effectively troubleshoot in the forum.  Unless one of my colleagues wants to jump in, I suggest you open a case and let the support team take a crack at it.  Sorry!
