Order Management for Telecom, Media & Tech

Good afternoon,

I'm new to the Order Management for Telecom, Media & Tech space and just had a quick question. Is the Order Management for Telecom, Media & Tech application dependent on the Order Management application?

I'm curious to know if they are dependent on each other because I only installed the Order Management for Telecom, Media & Tech application without the Order Management application and tried to submit an order. That worked as expected, however, when I clicked on Approve, I received several cross-scripting error messages.

Best regards,

Hi @cnharris1 ,

Yes, the OMT-order management plugin should not be dependent on the Order management.
But it is dependent on 'Data Model for Order Management', which i suppose will be auto installed during OMT plugin installation.

It would be greate if you can share SS of errors you have got so that we can help you out further.

Hope this helps.

Hi @Kailash Bhange ,

Sorry about the late reply. My team has been busy setting up a new ServiceNow environment. Sorry I don't have a copy of the error messages, but it was just two cross-scripting error messages that were pointing to the Order Management table. We did have the Order Management for Media, Telecom, and Tech installed, as well as the Data Model for Order Management but not the normal Order Management app installed. But once we installed that application, all of those cross-scripting error messages went away.

Thanks again for your help!

Best regards,
