Hi everyone,
I recently completed the ServiceNow Administration Fundamentals on-demand course through Now Learning and received a Certified System Administrator (CSA) exam voucher. The voucher is valid until February 7, 2026.
However, when I try to claim the voucher, it shows "Pay and Begin" with a fee of 300 USD. I’m unsure if I need to pay this amount to use the voucher or if it’s a technical issue.
Has anyone else faced this, or can someone clarify if the CSA exam voucher should cover the exam fee?
Thanks in advance!

Hi @ShanmukhaVM
Yes, if you're not working with a partner company, you will need to purchase this voucher. The cost is $300 plus taxes ($54). Once you buy it, you can then book the exam.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

Hi @ShanmukhaVM
After the first try, you get three re-sit attempts at $100 each. After that you have to retake the course. It's all explained here:
Note the wait times between attempts.

Yes, you have three reattempts, each costing $100 per attempt. Don't rush into the exam—prepare well and take it when you're confident. @ShanmukhaVM

If my company is paying for the voucher and they are tax exempt, how can I waive the fees?

Hi @MTodd
I’m not sure about that (tax), but the company has an agreement with ServiceNow regarding voucher. You can use the voucher provided and appear for the exam free of cost.

Hi,
Thank you for the previous clarification regarding the ServiceNow CSA exam voucher. I have one more question:
I noticed the mention of "Multiple Attempts" next to the exam. Could you please confirm how many attempts are included when using the voucher?
I appreciate your help!
Thanks again!
