Flow designer set stage to request_approved instead of waiting for approval

Hello,

I’ve created the resignation form, and the Stage value is configured as 'Waiting for Approval' in Flow Designer just before the 'Ask for Approval' action. However, in the RITM, the stage is automatically changing to 'Request Approved' for users who don’t have roles. It works correctly for users with roles. I also applied a 10-second wait condition before the approval step, but the issue still persists. Can anyone help identify the cause?

Hi @priyankakon,

If it's working for those with a role(s), it's probably access related issue.

Did you try running the Flow as the System User?

Hi @James Chun,

Thanks for response.

The flow isn’t working when no roles are assigned to the system user. It only works when the user has the admin role. However, assigning the admin role to end users isn’t a viable option. I also tried assigning the ITIL role and tested the flow, but it still doesn’t work.
