Hello,
We have been given a requirement that we have partially achieved, but I am wondering if someone can offer a suggestion for the last part. The requirement is around search attachments using AI Search.
- They do not want the users to be able to just download the attachment, they want the users to have to open the KB Article.
- When an attachment is returned they want to see the name of the KB Article not the name of the attachment.
- The users want to search attachments, but only return the knowledge article the attachment is attached to, and not the actually attachment.
We have been able to partial accomplish this, by making at change to the "Attachment Search Template", now we at least hide the download and when the results return they do not see the attachment name, but they see the KB title.
The issue we have left is we get one result per attachment, so if a KB article does not contain the search work, but the three different attachments each contain the search word three results are returned. Is there any way to get that down to just one result per KB number instead of three?

Hi Brian,
There are plans to make this better in an upcoming release. Please vote for this idea and hopefully this helps a little: Changing the default behavior for attachments in AI Search.
