AD integration with ServiceNow

Hi,

I am looking for guidance on integrating Active Directory with ServiceNow using the AD V2 Spoke. I need the detailed steps to configure the MID Server and set up the spoke.
Additionally, please advise on the information and prerequisites required from both the MID Server team and the Active Directory team to successfully establish this integration.

Thanks

Did you get any info on the mid server? I am also doing an integration and is not finding info on the server specs or ports that need to be opened.

Based on the docs, below are the pre-requisites:

MID Server and AD Server Setup

  1. Ensure the MID Server and AD Server are hosted on separate servers, as recommended by ServiceNow.
  2. Allow communication from the MID Server to Active Directory Web Services (ADWS) over port 9389.
  3. Execute the required PowerShell commands on both the MID Server and the AD Server, as outlined in the ServiceNow documentation.

Active Directory Server Requirements

  1. Ensure Active Directory Web Services (ADWS) is enabled and running on the AD Server.
  2. Confirm that ADWS and Active Directory are hosted on the same server.
  3. Run the required PowerShell commands on the AD Server as per the above documentation link.
  4. Provide a service account with the permissions (Account Operators) recommended by ServiceNow.

What to do next

To use the spoke actions, your instance must have a MID Server set up and configured to use PowerShell. For more information about running actions on the MID Server, see Integration steps. For more information about the MID Server, see MID Server.

To set up the MID Server for this spoke, see Set up MID Server for a spoke.

Note:
You must install the MID Server and Microsoft Active Directory on different servers.
