Georges is an Applied Research Scientist in the Emerging Technologies Lab at ServiceNow Research. He holds a Bachelors degree from the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico in Applied Mathematics. Also, he is finishing his Masters degree at the University of Montreal in Computer Science and Natural Language Processing. His prior research focused on multi-task learning for extractive summarization using document classification.
In his previous roles, he worked on building entity extraction, extractive summarization, and key phrase extraction models that would be served through APIs. He also has experience in client-facing roles, delivering on consulting projects for the healthcare and entertainment industries. His current work focuses on dialogue in NLP. In the Emerging Technologies Lab, he helps bridge the gap between fundamental research and productization.
