The Adversarial Testing & Risk Evaluation team works at the intersection of AI research and enterprise security, assessing and addressing AI-specific risks across the platform. From attack pathway discovery to contextual guardrails and red-teaming benchmarks, they work to make agent behavior robust, and resistant to adversarial manipulation.
The Agentic Harness & Defenses team builds defenses that keep autonomous agents safe and secure as they act. Through policy enforcement and harness-level controls, we anticipate and mitigate compositional risks, cascading failures, coordinated attacks and turn safety research into deployable controls that make enterprise agents trustworthy.
The Adaptive Agents team tackles the challenge of building agents that go beyond static models and genuinely adapt to new situations. Through work on memory, test-time training, and world models, they push toward agents that learn, remember, and anticipate, so that agent behavior stays reliable, reusable, and improvable over time.
The Agent Contextualization team aims to enable intelligent communication across the computational and human parts of AI-augmented systems so the whole improves, not just the parts. We build mechanisms for context acquisition and reuse, and we work to close the loops connecting agent evaluation and agent improvement.
The Model Readiness team tackles the challenge of keeping AI models sharp and responsive in production environments. Their scope covers continual improvement, self-learning, memory-based adaptation, and the development of small language models tailored to enterprise needs.
The AI Research Partnerships & Ecosystem team works at the intersection of research, industry, and academia, building the external and internal connections that amplify ServiceNow’s AI research impact. From monitoring the venture landscape and fostering university partnerships to aligning with internal product teams, they ensure that great research finds its way into the right hands.
