I am a final year PhD candidate at Mila and the University of Montreal, supervised by Sarath Chandar. My research focuses on studying the fundamental principles of human intelligence by creating agents that can adapt to new situations and work with different partners, with the ultimate goal of developing cooperative intelligence. Currently, I am specializing in Cooperative Multi-agent, Offline, and Model-based Reinforcement Learning, as well as Lifelong Learning. I have had the privilege of collaborating closely with Yoshua Bengio and Aditya Mahajan. My research is generously supported by NSERC and FRQNT. Prior to my PhD, I obtained my MSc from the University of Waterloo, where I worked with Prof. Khandani. I completed my BSc in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Economics at the Sharif University of Technology, Iran.
