The CMDB Health and CSDM Foundation Dashboards Duplicate metrics is also including Retired records while calculating the Duplicate Metrics %. Can we manipulate it and how?

Thanks for responding. Can you help me with, if there is any way I can define the duplicate metric to not include the Retired Records while calculating the duplicates. And is it utilizing the "Duplicate of" field to measure the same?

No Neha, there is nothing called duplicate of. So there is no way to do this.

'Duplicate of' is the field which is currently used to track duplicates. Earlier duplicates were tracked by marking 'Discovery source'=duplicate.

For your use case, I'll suggest to use the CMDB health dashboard instead. There you can define your required criteria for 'Duplicate' metric using health inclusion rules.

Hi Ashok,

Thank you for your valuable input. If we use Inclusion Rule to exclude the Retired records from getting processed in the IRE, then can we expect the duplicate metric to not include the Retired records?
