If I am not wrong, form level changes don't go to child form, you need to configure it again manually.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

Form level changes need to be done on the specific tables. Also it is recommended to make those changes only on the specific forms of the CI classes which you will be populating and utilizing. So making form changes on all the child classes of cmdb_ci_hardware is not a good practice. Many of the child classes will have its own additional attributes available. So each individual form change should be made only after considering the attributes as well as the business objective of that CI class.
