Modelling automations in the CSDM

Does anyone in the community have any thoughts or recommendations on how to most appropriately model automations in alignment with the CSDM? An example of an automation would be a password reset function. Or a even a simple tax calculation.

The use case is that an automation might fail and we want to generate an incident for the failure (with a CI populated that reflects the automation).

Hi @PG2

I belive your likely to check your CSDM allignment for certain CMDB table, Incident module and Any other tables associated to your Automation.

For incident Managment you can consider having CI, Business service, services and service offering field. additonally having affected CIs and Impacted CIs or services fields.

For cmdb table you can assure the proper support groups are associated and CIs have accurate dependencies. I hope this helps...
