LANGUAGE TRANSLATION

Hi All

I want to translate value of a field based on user preferred language.

        Like User 1 in Spanish

        USER 2 in eng

so user 1 created ticket in spanish so when user 2 sees that ticket it should be automatically translated to eng.

but when I go to sys_language table I cant activate the language

Can anyone help

I did a quick search of the community and didn't see an example of anyone successfully doing this (and reporting back.) It would be an interesting exercise.



How often do you get cross-language issues where translation is required?

not often but   we are facing this issue.



And in product documention there are no clear steps.


I can definitely tell you that implementing a "translate" button of some type to change the text in a description field, latest comment, or any other string goes beyond the scope of what I can provide in the comments of a community post. It CAN be done. We will consider it for an upcoming Live Coding Happy Hour.
