SSO Authentication with scripted REST API

Hi,

Is it possible to call scripted REST API with SSO authentication?

Is there any token get generated while SSO login process and how to get that token to call scripted rest APIs?

or

is there any recommended method to use the SSO account to call scripted REST APIs?
