Wanting to remove all CMDB roles from a ITIL clone role

Hello,

I'm trying to create a new role based off of ITIL, but I want to remove every single CMDB role. Unfortunately, due to circumstances may have to use our incident table for other users who aren't IT Related and trying to figure out, if I were to remove all the roles that are related to CMDB. How much it would affect the consumer?

The list below is the current roles I have. Does anyone see any roles that would be missing that would prevent someone from being able to work in the incident table or be "itil" like without CMDB access and configuration item access.  Most of the other defaults roles I found in the OOTB ITIL, have CMDB roles nested in it.

Hi @charles-gudermu

Create a custom role:
Let's say: custom_itil_lite

Assign only:

incident_read

incident_write

incident_create

task_read

task_write

problem_read / change_request_read (optional)

user_read

Possibly catalog or sc_request_* if they’re interacting with service requests

Do not include itil itself — build your own.
