I received the following email regarding PDI. This is not the inactivity monitor.

Is there a way to retain the PDI?

Hi @akshayashetty .

I had been using my PDI for a long time, but I received an email similar to yours.

Despite what the email stated, my instance went offline immediately.

I waited for half a day, but it never recovered.

Therefore, I requested a new PDI. According to the banner header on the Developer Site, PDIs are currently unavailable, suggesting that even if you join the waiting list, it will take a long time before one is assigned.

regards,

I have taken backup and requested a reset. I have received a new instance, hope it has reset the reclaim process as well and I don't have to join waiting list for new instance, fingers crossed!

Hi,

How did you back up and request for a reser and also a new instance? I need help please, thank you.

Hi,
I took backup using update sets. All my changes were captured in update sets, so it was easy. You have option to get new instance name when you opt for reset.
