Can we create approval flow for Content Management (EC portal) (e.g content library)?

Is it possible to have approval flow for updating Content Library i.e. Banner, Style content, Video etc.

bcoz currently when I create content using content library and do active selected it get published, but what I want is the only particular user or group can have authority to approve or reject that content.

There is no OOTB Approvals flow here that I am aware off. Below is a link outlining some information around controls for publishing

It is also worth remembering you can in theory apply a Flow anywhere in the platform. So it would be possible to apply Approval flows here, but would require customisation.

I normally recommend to customers when I'm advising on content publishing that if multiple groups, people or business units are involved, look to setup a design authority sort of setup, whereby the group meets and reviews content that will be published or scheduled. 

Remembering that content can be created and set inactive, so it can be previewed before publishing.

Hi Dan,

do you know if there is, in the meantime, a OOTB feature available to add an approval workflow for content ?
I do not understand the approach to manually add an approver or group to any content I wanna publish and I cannot see how this gets triggered at all.

I just came across the Content Governance plugin, this might solve my challenge, will try it out 🙂

There is an OOB approval process on content, if you don't use the "Content Library" to publish.  If you use the "Schedule Content" module, you can add Approvers to the content.  If you add more than one, each will have to approve before it's published.  It is using the Content Approvals flow.
