How to customize mega menu in employee center portal?

Hi everyone, 

I am configuring the employee center now, I have a list of menu items which are catalog items and each item belongs to a category. 

Currently, my menu looks like this

But I want the menu look like this. For example, Each item should belong to one category like Hardware, Software as image below.

What thing can I change?

Thanks everyone, my problem was that I chose the wrong theme for the portal, thats why the megamenu did not show the expected menu items.

You just want that colour ?? 

If yes I think best way to do it will be using branding editor.

Hi, as you can see the red rectangle, I want each item belong to one category like Hardware, Software as the second image.

Hi @An Le ,

You can Navigate to content Taxonomies  > Topics > either you can create a new topic by clicking on "New" or use the existing Topics , just make sure you have the Parent field same for your respective topics such that all of these topics displays under "IT".

I cannot find Assigned Topics option in maintain items as your instruction in the refer link.
