Bulk update "date" field with blank values

Paulo Andrielli

Hi all,

sorry about the question, but I could not find any place on Internet with that.....

I know about the builk update in Servicenow, where in the "list view", you can select multiple cells from same column, double-click on them, and change the value.

However, how to make an update in a date field, but ADDING BLANK VALUE? I have arouns 50 assets that I need to remove the "warranty expiration" date, and I am not able to do this in bulk upload....

Hi @Paulo Andrielli

If you have an option in the list edit to "Update All' or "Updated Selected", you can choose that option and write "Null" in the Warranty expiration field to clear date in bulk.

You can try this way.

Hey Paulo,
Its super straight forward. Select all the field and do update all. In the warranty expiration date field, type NULL(make sure its caps). It will update the fields as expected.

Thanks Swapna and Shubham!

Unfortuntely, I do not have this option in my menu. Seems that I need the role "list_updater" for that.
