HAM Normalization Question

Hi,

In Hardware normalization status in HAM workspace, it is showing 70% and when i check models which are not normalized , for few models there are no assets present for that model at all. In this case why OOTB is showing normalization status for which assets are not present and Normalization status/report should not be applicable at all.  I am expecting normalization status in HAM OOTB report workspace should show for the models which has assets right? else unnecessary we need to debug models for which assets not present at all.

please share your thoughts

Hi @Glideuser9 ,

This is an intended behavior to identify models that need attention. Modifying the filter and reports to just include only models with assets, I would not recommend that, as you will lack visibility for stale models.

Did you ever use the models or plan to use them and do you have an idea how they have been created? You might retire them or exclude them from the Normalization, in case you will never use them.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for inputs,

Yes, i tried to retire few models and also exclude few other from Content service but both are showing as not normalized. So i am debugging that issue.

You mentioned "exclude them from the Normalization", hope you mean "exclude from Content service"
