There are times customers want to import their existing contracts for HAM & SAM (not entitlements). I don't seem to find a default import file. I know I can export all the fields to create a template, but not all the fields are needed.
Just wondering if anyone has one that works?

The best method is to export all the fields to a template and then include only the fields which you require in the actual template which you fill. Following are some of the recommended fields which need to be included in the template:
Contract number, Contract model, Name, Start date, End date, State, Substate, Vendor, Agreement type, Total cost
You can consider the actual list of fields required for your template based on the types of contracts and the data which you need to track for the contracts. The following URL has details of all the contract fields:
