Unable to see hardware in Asset class list

Hi All,

  I created a role called itam_admin and I am trying to create a new asset.

But in the asset type/class list wizard, I do not see some of the options like Hardware, Consumable, Facility etc.

Are there special roles or ACLs required for this?

Hello @KamakshiM 

If I got your question correct you are looking on this page where you need to see options available when new asset is created. If yes, then this is called Interceptors. 

Now since you created role and I believe you have already added that role over create/read acl which enables creation of record but now since you land on this page options are not showcased. So, to get this you see Edit Interceptor at top right in above screenshot, click on it you will see below screen.

Now in above screen you can see in Answers list there are records which are options showcased and it has roles associated with it. Now you can open record and just add the role you have newly created. Once that is done you will be good to see those option when a new asset is created.

For some reason, it started working, without me doing anything.

But this is a very helpful solution, in case I see the issue again, I will apply it.
