Hi All,
Greetings!
Is there any way to use Remediation Feature OOB from HAM & SAM Perspective?
I have gone through different ServiceNow doc links, however not able to understand from where should we start to do POC of this feature.
If anyone can help me to understand whats the use of this feature, how we can implement it and can be beneficial from HAM & SAM perspective.

The following PDF has information about remediation options for SAM:
These are various methods which can be used to remediate software compliance issues. The benefit is reducing risks and costs related to software non-compliance.
There are no remediation options applicable directly for HAM. But for Assets which have a CI associated with them, CMDB remediation actions will be applicable. Following URLs have details about CMDB remediation:
The benefit is CMDB data quality improvement. This can indirectly improve the data quality of assets also which are linked with the remediated CIs.

Hello @Divyank Gohil
The Remediation feature in ServiceNow can be used to automatically remediate non-compliant systems and configuration items based on predefined policies and rules. This feature can be beneficial from HAM (Hardware Asset Management) and SAM (Software Asset Management) perspectives by helping to ensure that all hardware and software assets are in compliance with regulatory requirements, security standards, and licensing agreements. To implement this feature, you would need to configure policies and rules within ServiceNow that define what actions should be taken when non-compliance is detected. You can then use the Remediation feature to automate the process of remediating non-compliant systems or configuration items based on these policies and rules. It's important to thoroughly test any policies or rules before implementing them in a production environment.
Thanks
