Last week, ServiceNow attended HR Tech 2021 in Las Vegas!
After an eventful three days on-site, we’re excited to share how ServiceNow continues to the lead the charge in delivering best in class employee experiences.
Returning to an in-person event was a long-awaited experience for the ServiceNow Employee Workflows team. We were so amped to showcase our latest innovations which you can learn more about here!
Industry Trends: The Future of Work
Hybrid Work:
Hybrid is rapidly changing the future of work. HR Tech was a perfect example of this. Some keynote speakers tuned in virtually, conference spaces were safely socially distanced, and all attendees needed to verify vaccine status prior to arrival. Sound familiar? Session speakers described how the “new normal” will require organizations to drive flexible and unified employee experiences from wherever people choose to work. The experience of working from home and working out of a hotel space in the office should be consistent, safe, and seamless. At ServiceNow’s HR Tech booth, we also featured our latest and greatest capabilities in Workplace Service Delivery which can help you bring people and places safely together. Personalized Journeys:
Across the sessions we attended, the need for human-centric and personalized employee experiences stuck out as an important organizational imperative. The Great Resignation has ushered in an era where companies are taking a retention-first talent approach. Consequently, internal mobility is now the key to driving organizational agility. On Day 3, Jason Averbrook emphasized the importance of designing employee journeys based on how people feel. Only then, can you retain top talent, build trust, and create a culture of care. Additionally, your managers are often front and center with supporting employees in navigating these career journeys. For managers to effectively drive great employee experiences, they’ll need the tools to design and build these personalized journeys. See how Employee Journey Management supports your managers and employees as they embark on career moments like reskilling and transfers from anywhere.

Day 2 Highlights:
On Day 2, industry analyst Josh Bersin joined us virtually to speak about the “Ten New Truths About the HR Technology Market”. Bersin highlighted how ServiceNow aligns to many of the ten truths – in particular, the following three: “Employee Experience takes over”, “ERP still strong, redefined”, and the “Creator Economy”. To sum it up, the employee experience tech stack is expanding, traditional ERP vendors and platform players are trying to define where they sit, and the creator economy is changing how we define employee experiences forever. It’s exciting to see the fast growth in the HR tech market and where ServiceNow pushes the envelope. Our foundational strength in the experience layer combined with our creator tools give us the unique capability to drive cross-enterprise journeys and workflows that meet your organizational needs faster.
