When to Re-index tables in AI Search

We recently adopted AI Search. I am unclear on when| if we need to manually re-index table(s) in the following circumstances? It seems the data isn't being updated in the search results without it.

1. Add new custom fields to an indexed table

2. Run a data fix script with gr.setWorkflow(false) and gr.autoSysFields(false) on hundreds of records

Appreciate your time and attention.

Update: I confirmed this week that you do not need to re-index after adding a new custom field to an indexed table in AI Search.

Hi there....I found this on the docs site today...you may have found it by now too. It seems to indicate when you need to do a manual re-index.  We are in the process of adopting AI Search also and I keep getting caught out on this 🙂
