I have a user who wants to add incidents, service requests and a couple other tables into one visual task board. Is that possible?

I found out that this is only possible in a specific situation.
If you want to query multiple tables, they have to all share the same parent and the parent table has to be queried. This parent table would need a field that would help determine what child table a record is located in.

Hi Siaka,
You can also create a freeform board and manually add the tasks to the board. For more info, see the following product doc:
Add a task to a freeform board from a form
Add a task to a freeform board from a list (This is ideal for adding several tasks to a board at once.)

We discovered that you are able to right click in the menu bar area of a record or the record number in list view and choose, "Add to Visual Task Board". When you do that it gives you an option to add it to an existing VTB that you have already created. While you can't add en mass with a filtered list to an existing board, it's a small work around. I've put in a request through ServiceNow rep to allow list view to be added in the same way that individual records can be added. And to also include a "New" task board option from the VTB selection table.

Hi Ken,
We actually do provide a way to add multiple tasks to a freeform VTB from a list! There's a link to the instructions in my previous response (see Add a task to a freeform board from a list). If you don't have this option in your instance, an administrator may have disabled it or restricted access.
