AI Control Tower for Now Assist installed with ServiceNow Pro+ and Enterprise+ applications

If you have recently installed any Now Assist plugins after acquiring Pro Plus or Enterprise Plus products, or are planning to do this in the near future, I recommend reading and preparing to configure AI Control Tower for Now Assist, a core subset of AI Control Tower focused on managing the ServiceNow AI Inventory.

I'll share my experience and findings, but please chime in if you can provide more insights.

While AI Control Tower is a robust and growing standalone product, a subset of its functionalities or what could be called a "light" version  of AI Control Tower is automatically installed with Pro+ and Ent+ products.

As reference, the following official Docs article Activation and installation of AI Control Tower. includes the following note at the bottom of the article:
"Note:

For all Pro Plus licensed customers, the AI Control Tower for Now Assist 1.01 gets auto-installed with generative AI Controller (sn_generative.ai 11.0.9). Installation of Now Assist plugin will auto-install relevant AI Control Tower plugins. No additional plugins are needed."

And I want to describe an example of the above with real ServiceNow plugin names:

Say you wanted to install Now Assist for Platform (sn_genai_platform), well, if you check the instance dependencies and requirements, you will see that it will automatically install Generative AI Controller (com.sn.generative.ai) which in turn will install AI Control Tower for Now Assist (sn_aict_nowassist).

So, if you are wondering what subset of features from AI Control Tower are included in this plugin I suggest you discuss it with your ServiceNow Account Rep, but here is a quick summary of the Key Features of the AI Control Tower for Now Assist application directly from the Store, which could be summarised to the basic AI Asset Inventory Management with a limitation that it will only work for ServiceNow AI Inventory.
