What is that your trying exactly.
To add URL, you can use ${mail_script:setURLScript} and in the "setURLScript" script you can define your anchor tag <a></a>.

Use $ {URI} or $ {URI_REF} for that in the mail body. Also check my reply in the below thread.

Hi Anusha,
First of all there are 2 types of URL's which you can mention in email notifications
${URI} and ${URI_REF}
Explanation for both will be found in below URL
