During the Performance Analytics Academy on January 15th, we covered a list of Reporting Best Practices.
In the session, we reviewed some of the best practices for reporting. A very important note is that these are not just technical best practices but instead start with how to approach building reports and the team you need to do it. Good analytics start with good requirements and a thorough understanding of those requirements. A great example of this is making sure you understand what the report viewer wants to get out of the report and picking a visualization that showcases that (not everything should be a list or a pivot).
