The best approach IMO to avoid calculating 0 for weekends and holidays is to create new indicator source and indicators for these time periods.

So if you need weekly and monthly just create new indicator source with frequency weekly, monthly. After that create indicators using them and job collectors running weekly monthly.

This way you will get data weekly or monthly and skip weekends and holidays values used to calculate average.

Hi Slawek,

Is their way to exclude weekends in above configuration where we have created simple automated indicator - number of incidents created(daily) and created widget for example score one and add this indicator with different time series.

Hi Slawek,

Client saying Average incident opened per week, Average incident opened per month and Average incident opened per quarter calculations are incorrect.

So my concern it that for calculating Average incident opened per week, What condition should I add in automated indicator and what time series should i use?

same concern for Average incident opened per month and Average incident opened per quarter.

Please help me with same

You just create Indicator Source with ticket Created this week, Created this month, Created this quarter. This way you will have numbers of tickets created during these periods.

After that you use widgets on dashboard with AVG times. Of course to get AVG you need to use lower scope. For example you can use AVG by Year for Monthly indicator so it calculates monthly AVG through year and so on.

I don't understand what values might be wrong. Try to verify values etc.
