I have a lot of dashboards in the core UI where the question mark appears with the message: 'this dashboard contains unsupported widgets and cannot be migrated to the next experience ui'. On my PDI there are also some out-of-the-box dashboards (pa_dashboards) which also have this question mark.
Is there any easy way to see which widget on the dashboard is not compatible?
What does this message say and how can I easily see which dashboards contain this question mark?
Does the question mark mean that the dashboard can't be migrated.

Hi Dr Atul,
Thanks for your answer.
I've looked into the article and it is helpful, but still it doesn't give an answer on my question.
We've around 1300 dashboards and I can try to migrate them all or one by one and after the migrations see what is the difference, but that is a lot of work.
So I hoped there is a way to easily see which dashboards are impacted and what widget is causing the issue.

Hi @mvenema
In this case, please log a ticket with the ServiceNow support team. Based on my experience, the migration needs to be done one-to-one. Also, please review whether all 1300 dashboards are actually required. It would be better to clean up unnecessary items before moving forward.

Hi, mvenema,
We've seen this as well, and so far I've identified two specific types of widgets:
1) Application Listings Widgets (essentially things that are referencing Menu items)
2) Database Query Widgets
The first one generally has a title matching the application/menu item (i.e. "Reporting" or "Service Catalog". The second, is easily identifiable when trying to edit the dashboard as it won't have the "pencil" icon on the widget for editing the 'report'. They also tend to have the option to take actions on the rows from a dropdown.
If you're allowing team members to migrate their own dashboards, as soon as they remove the unsupported widget(s) the option to migrate becomes immediately available for them.
