For Predictive Intelligence wordcorpus, is it better to use the 80/20 rule of filter of 6months of data on the wordcorpus and then 12months of data on the Solution definition record?

So your word corpus defines the vectorization technique used by PI, please see this article for details.

In general your word corpus filters should  (1) include more records than the training data set or (2) match the training data set exactly.  See diagram below. HTH.
