IBM SAN Volume Controller Base Virtualization License and SCU Metric

The license metric for this is a Storage Capacity Unit (SCU) but this is not currently supported as part of the IBM PP (as far as I can tell).  Is the only option for now to create a custom license metric?  Anyone come across this yet?
