I am trying to understand how maintenance entitlements work and what do they actually do. I am having difficulties relating entitlements to a maintenance entitlement, and when I do, I am not clear on exactly what that provides me. There is next to no documentation that I can find that explains how and when to use these types of entitlements, and even more importantly how are they used with Subscriptions (non-perpetual licenses).
