Reporting on completed configured publishers/products as part of implementation

Hi all, I wanted to know how everyone reports on the status/progress of completing the configuration of each vendor and product when implementing SAMP.

 

The best practice guidelines tell you to start out only focusing on your main vendors and do not try to boil the ocean.  So how do you report this effectively.

 

I want to give management something of use to demonstrate that we are progressing but avoiding giving them rubbish data or misleading data.  i.e. X products were configured over the stated period, that may seem like there was little progress but those x number of products were Tier 1 vendors.

 

Ideally for this type of reporting I would like to be able to generate it within SAMP itself or SN reporting.
